Ameer Jhingoor is a Chartered Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Registered Company Auditor. He grew up in Mesnil, Mauritius. After completing his high school at Saint Mary’s College in Rose-Hill Mauritius, he completed a Bachelor Degree Accountancy at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. He then completed his postgraduate qualification and practical experience at a leading Chartered Accountancy firm to become a Chartered Accountant. He worked in Melbourne, Perth and in the last 6 years in Sydney. Mr. Jhingoor has been in Australia for 18 years.
Mr. Jhingoor has been active in the Mauritian diaspora community in Australia over the last decades and has strong networks in major metropolitan areas in the country. He currently provides external audit and advisory services to various types of not-for-profit organizations including foundations. He is honoured to bring his expertise in service to the 5-2035 mission. He is personally motivated to participate in curbing diabetes in the homeland of Mauritius as a model for the world as he has several family members and friends who are afflicted with the condition.
Mr. Jhingoor is married to Zibya Jhingoor, who is a banking specialist. They have three children; Muhiyuddin 3, Ziya Mariya 2 and Mahiruddin 1. They currently live in Sydney, Australia.
